The Saudi Aerospace Engineering and Industry Corporation and Prince Sultan Academy of Aviation Sciences signed a partnership agreement with the American Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology, to exchange training experiences and qualify national cadres in the field of aircraft maintenance and raise training outputs and quality; And in the presence of the General Director of the General Organization for Saudi Arabian Airlines, Eng. Ibrahim Al-Omar.
The agreement included providing consultations in the field of aircraft maintenance training for employees of the Saudi Airlines Company for Aviation Engineering and Industry, and supporting the company’s technical school with expertise and specialized trainers to raise the quality of school outputs Provided that workshops and training programs will be held at the headquarters of the Prince Sultan Aviation Sciences Academy.
Engineer Ibrahim Al-Omar explained that the agreement will enhance the efficiency of technical training in Saudi Airlines, raise its quality, and qualify specialized national cadres of trainers in the field of maintenance of structures, engines and aircraft electronics. This contributes to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 related to supporting local content and localizing the aviation and air transport industry.
Al-Omar emphasized that training is an essential element in the comprehensive and sustainable development processes of the institution and its companies.
