Saudia is seriously considering adding up to five flights per week on the Jeddah-Atlanta route starting in the peak summer season next year.
For now, nothing is official; these are just rumors, fueled by some analysis published by Ishrion Aviation, a well-known independent analyst. The latter indicated that an airline, whose name was not revealed, has inquired about the availability of slots for the connection between Jeddah’s King Fahd Abdulaziz Airport (JED) and Atlanta-Hartsfield-Jackson Airport (ATL). The same source confirmed that this airline is not Delta Airlines.
The rumors increasingly point to Saudia, the airline that shares its codes with the American Delta Airlines.
As a reminder, Saudia, which announced the launch of flights to Paris in code sharing with Delta, offers its customers the possibility of reaching twelve additional destinations in the United States via DAL hubs, including John F. Kennedy (JFK) and Los Angeles (LAX).
