Saudi Arabia announces new conditions for flights serving its airports

The competent authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the setting of a new condition for boarding planes on domestic flights to travel between the Kingdom’s airports, as part of preventive measures to prevent the spread of the Corona virus.

The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation stipulated that the traveler receive two doses of one of the anti-Coronavirus vaccines, which are approved by the health authorities in Saudi Arabia.

The General Authority of Civil Aviation issued directives to all airlines in the Kingdom, regarding ensuring that travelers wishing to travel on domestic flights are vaccinated with two doses of the Corona vaccine before boarding the plane. She pointed out that the implementation of the new procedures will start from Sunday, October 10, pointing out that this 2021 condition does not apply to groups excluded from taking the Corona vaccine, according to what appears in the (Tawakkalna) electronic application.
