Saudia sets new passenger record

Saudia Airlines recorded impressive traffic growth in the first half of this year, with nine million passengers carried on its aircraft, representing an increase of 24% compared to the same period the previous year. This significant increase is explained by the intense activity of the company, which managed no less than 42,000 flights during this period.

Optimism remains in order for the months to come since Saudia does not intend to stop there. The company plans to further expand its fleet with new aircraft from aviation giants Boeing and Airbus.

Noting that the national carrier of Saudi Arabia has placed a historic order with the two aircraft manufacturers for the delivery of 108 aircraft over the coming years.

Overall, the aviation sector in Saudi Arabia recorded remarkable progress during the first half of the year, with a 17% increase in the number of passengers carried, reaching an impressive total of 62 million people.
