Saudia recently announced a significant increase in the number of seats for flights to and from Turkey. With a considerable 380% increase in its current capacity, the airline aims to meet the growing demand for travel between the two countries. This capacity increase comes at just the right time, as Turkish pilgrims now have the opportunity to perform the holy Umrah with ease.
The increase in seat capacity includes an impressive 37,000 seats specifically allocated for Turkish pilgrims who wish to embark on the spiritual journey of Umrah.
This exciting news coincides with another important development for Turkish travelers: the availability of electronic visas. With this new visa system, passengers residing in Turkey can now easily apply for and obtain travel authorization to Saudi Arabia, further simplifying the travel process. These developments not only benefit travelers but also contribute to the growth of tourism and strengthening cultural exchanges between Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
As a reminder, Saudia currently serves regular flights to Istanbul from Jeddah and Al Madinah.
