Flynas recently announced their new addition to the Air Connectivity program. Since August 3, 2023, the Saudi low-cost airline has been offering non-stop flights between Jeddah and Mohammed V airport in Casablanca.
With three frequencies per week, Flynas uses its A330-300s to ensure its frequencies between the two airports. Flights are scheduled on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, departing from Jeddah at 1:40 p.m. Return flights depart from the Moroccan airport at 8:10 p.m. This schedule provides flexibility for business and leisure travelers, allowing them to plan their trip at their convenience.
The addition of this line to the Flynas network should have a positive impact on the tourism and business sectors. Casablanca, known as the economic and commercial center of Morocco, attracts a large number of travelers seeking business and trade opportunities. This new air link will make it easier for professionals and companies to travel, allowing them to strengthen commercial ties and explore potential collaborations.
Additionally, Casablanca is a popular tourist destination, renowned for its rich history, vibrant culture and stunning architecture. The new connection will allow travelers from Saudi Arabia to explore the wonders of Casablanca and the region of Morocco. From the bustling streets of the old medina to the breathtaking Hassan II Mosque, there is no shortage of attractions to captivate visitors.
Besides Flynas, Saudia, the national airline of Saudi Arabia, also operates flights on this route, as does the entire Royal Air Maroc fleet. This healthy competition between airlines is beneficial to passengers as it provides greater choice and competitive fares.
Flynas’ Air Connectivity program aims to improve travel options for its customers and contribute to the growth of tourism, trade and cultural exchange between different countries.
