Saudi Adele Company organized a special ceremony at King Abdulaziz International Airport on the occasion of its acquisition of the first A320neo aircraft. The ceremony, which was held in Jeddah, was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of flyadeal, the Director General of the General Organization of Saudi Arabian Airlines, Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar, and a number of executives and those interested in the transport industry.
The ceremony began with a visual presentation on the achievements of “Airadeal” company since its inception, which has strengthened its position to gain a positive response and resonance with travelers due to the services it provides and the expansion of the flight network that keeps pace with aspirations, and looks forward to achieving more to support the travel movement and the growth of the tourism sector in the Kingdom.
This was followed by a speech by the CEO of flyadeal, “Kon Corvatis”, who reviewed an important aspect of the company’s achievements represented in the expansion of its fleet and its domestic flight network, which includes 14 destinations, referring to flyadeal’s ability to increase daily flights to (88) flights across A modern fleet consisting of (15) Airbus (A320) aircraft, in addition to operating the first direct international flights from Riyadh to Dubai last July, indicating the company’s success in transporting more than (11) million passengers since the start of operations, where the company celebrated Last April, it transported 10 million passengers, achieving the goal of reaching this number ahead of schedule.
Corvatis explained that flyadeal has realized since its establishment that the Kingdom is ripe for technological innovation and e-commerce, in addition to the fact that the majority of the age group of its population is young, and for this reason, competitive prices and multiple packages have been designed to suit all segments of society. Also, these services are constantly monitored for the purpose of development and improvement.
In his turn, Ibrahim Al-Omar stressed in a speech on this occasion that “Airadeal” was established to work side by side within the system of the Saudi Airlines Corporation to operate domestic and regional flights, which allows Saudi Airlines to focus more on expanding in international operation, and the first four years were distinguished Its launch with an accelerating pace of achievement, whether at the level of operation or the great success of relying mainly on electronic service channels, in addition to the initiative in enhancing the developmental role of women, noting that flyadeal has become today the third largest air operator in the Kingdom and the fastest growing airline in the Middle East .
Al-Omar said: “When we celebrate these achievements today, we all have a great responsibility to continue to shine, preserve the achievements, and proceed from them to other successes by doubling efforts, innovation and creativity at work. They are represented in Saudi Airlines and flyadeal, and with the presence of the rest of the companies, they will be able to achieve the goals of the vision.”
After that, the attendees watched a visual presentation of the new aircraft (A320neo) and what it will contribute to serving the operational and marketing plans of flyadeal, where it is expected that the total number of aircraft of this type in the company will be (30) aircraft by 2025.
