Saudia will soon be present on an air route linking Riyadh to Nice in France. This flight will be served seasonally, the Saudi carrier said in a statement.
According to Aeroroutes, Saudia will leave Nice-Cote d’Azur three times a week. It will fly its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner (24 + 274) every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday at 10:00 a.m. The plane will arrive at the French airport at 2:50 p.m. and leave at 4:10 p.m. to land at King Abdulaziz International Airport at 10:35 p.m.
Saudia will have no direct competition on this route previously offered with a stopover via its partners in the SkyTeam alliance, Air France and ITA Airways. Remember that Nice airport is already served from the Gulf region by Emirates Airlines and Qatar Airways (from Dubai and Doha respectively), to which will be added this summer Etihad Airways from Abu Dhabi, Gulf Air from Bahrain and Kuwait. Saudia recently reopened its flights to Bangkok while announcing its return to nine other destinations, namely Chicago, Barcelona, Malaga, Marrakech, Moscow, Beijing, Seoul, Amsterdam and Entebbe.
In France, the airline of Saudi Arabia also serves Paris, providing a regular service all year round to CDG airport.
