Saudi Airlines reviewed several projects in the area of travel and tourism at the World Travel and Tourism Exhibition in London (WTM) in addition to its services in the digital transformation seen by Saudi Arabia and its marketing initiatives and programs.
Captain Ibrahim bin Salman Al-Kushi (CEO of Saudi Airlines Company for Air Transport) stressed the importance to participate, which allows the company meet directly with entrepreneurs, travelers, and visitors from all over the world to learn about the progress of projects related to tourism. He also stated that “Saudi Airlines” is one of its most important goals. As Vision 2030’s wings, the strategy is to connect the world to Saudi Arabia.
Captain Al-Kishi noted that Saudi Arabia is experiencing a significant transformation in the quality of its service. It has adopted digital transformation as an approach to internal and external dealings with guests. He also pointed out that these hardy steps for development were a direct factor in winning the award for “Skytrax”, the organization that awards the best airline in the world, for the year 2021, according the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The session covered the different areas of cooperation between “Saudi Airlines” and the Ministry of Tourism. It is a strategic partner in transporting participants from all over the world to the Kingdom via its network of flights that reaches 4 continents.
Activities of the Saudi Tourism Authority’s pavilion included a series main sessions that revolved around the Kingdom’s plans to attract 100 millions visits annually in a sustainably manner. The CEO of Saudi Airlines was present at one of those sessions to highlight Saudi Airlines’ efforts to support its ambitious tourism growth plans. .
