Royal Saudi Airlines announced that the Kingdom’s decision to allow its citizens to travel abroad according to health conditions, starting from next May 17, does not apply to countries in which the official committee concerned decides to suspend travel to or from them due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
And the Saudi Ministry of Interior, in a statement today, announced the lifting of the travel suspension for citizens, and the full opening of land, sea and air ports, as of one o’clock in the morning on Monday, May 17, 2021.
Saudi Airlines hastened with a subsequent statement in which it confirmed that no new was issued regarding travel to the countries that suspended flights with them: Egypt, Argentina, the Emirates, Germany, America, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Pakistan, Brazil, Portugal, Britain, Turkey, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland. France, Lebanon, India, Japan.
The Saudi decision allowed the travel of fortified citizens who received two full doses of the (Covid 19) vaccine, as well as those who received one dose, provided that (14) days have passed since they were vaccinated with the first dose, according to what appears in the (Tawakolna) application, and citizens recovering from the Corona virus, Provided that they have spent less than (6) months of being infected with the virus, according to what appears in the (Tawakolna) application.
As well as citizens under the age of 18 years, provided that they present before travel an insurance policy approved by the Central Bank of Saudi Arabia, covering the risks of (Covid 19) outside the Kingdom, according to the instructions announced by the relevant authorities.
They are subjected to home quarantine after returning to the Kingdom for a period of (7) days, provided that a PCR examination is done at the end of the quarantine period, and persons under the age of (8) years are excluded from the examination, and this category is modified according to the instructions of the Ministry of Health.
