Saudia spreads its wings between Jeddah and Barcelona

Saudia has announced the start of flight operations on the airline connecting Jeddah to Barcelona.
The launch of flights to the capital of Catalonia represents a new step towards improving the offer of the Saudi airline to international destinations.

On this air route, Saudia intends to provide regular flights by offering two weekly frequencies between the two international airports King Abdulaziz in Saudi Arabia and El Prat in Spain.

Issam Akhunbay, the Vice President for Marketing and Product Management at Saudi Airlines, explained that cooperation with the National Air Connection Program supports the efforts of Saudi Airlines to bring the world to the Kingdom as one of the strategic goals it seeks to achieve, as direct flights to and from Barcelona throughout the year will contribute to increasing tourism, trade and business. in both destinations.

For his part, the Vice President of Strategy and Communication for the Air Connectivity Program, Sultan Otifi, indicated that the new direct flight path will contribute to enhancing tourism from Spain, as it will provide a more convenient option for travel from Barcelona, and that the partnership will pave the way for additional growth in air transport in the future, which will support Naturally, the growth and prosperity of the Saudi air transport and tourism sectors.
