Saudia serves its first flight to Zürich from Riyadh

Saudia has just served its maiden flight to Zurich in Switzerland. The link was launched as part of the Air Connectivity program, launched by the Saudi government to improve tourism in Saudi Arabia and the country’s air connectivity.

On this route, the Saudi Arabian carrier intends to offer a regular service all year round with two weekly flights, operated every Sunday and Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. (from Riyadh) to arrive in Zurich at 2:05 p.m. Return flights are scheduled at 3:20 p.m. to land at Saudi King Abdulaziz International Airport at 9:55 p.m.

Saudia is deploying its A320 type aircraft to ensure its frequencies to Zurich International Airport. These aircraft have a two-class configuration with a total number of seats of 110 seats, including 20 in Business class.

The Swiss destination is therefore added to Geneva, which is also served by the Saudi national carrier from Medina, Riyadh and Jeddah.
