Saudia now offers non-stop flights between Jeddah and Baghdad, connecting the two cities three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The inaugural flight took place at the beginning of this month, as the national airline announced in a press release.
This new connection is an important complement to the existing line inaugurated by Flynas between Jeddah-King Abdulaziz International and Erbil. Thanks to this new route, travelers now have more options for traveling between the two Arabian countries.
The introduction of non-stop flights on this route reflects the growing demand for air travel between the two countries. Baghdad, the capital of Iraq, is a bustling metropolis with a rich cultural heritage and a growing economy. Jeddah, meanwhile, is a major hub for international flights in Saudi Arabia and serves as a gateway into the country for many travelers.
