ITA Airways will serve Jeddah from Rome with direct flights

ITA Airways is expanding its horizons with the launch of a long-haul flight between Rome and Jeddah. This new service, integrated into its summer 2024 flight program, marks a significant expansion of the company’s offering in terms of international destinations.

Jeddah King Fahd Abdelaziz Airport will host this flight with three weekly frequencies from Rome Fiumicino Airport. This new air route is not just a temporary addition for the summer season; Italy’s national airline has ambitious plans to maintain this service throughout the fall and winter seasons. Its last flight on this route is scheduled for March 29, 2025.

Although details on the type of aircraft operated to provide frequencies on Rome-Jeddah have not yet been revealed, it is likely that the company will opt for aircraft such as the A320 or the A321, known for their reliability and efficiency on long distance journeys.
