AirAsia X: Reopening of the Kuala Lumpur – Jeddah service

AirAsia X have seen a strong recovery in their traffic this year, after the lifting of health restrictions in the majority of countries around the world.

Offering low-cost services to connect Malaysia to the rest of the world, the air carrier based at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, has announced the resumption of its services between Kuala Lumpur and Jeddah

After an absence that lasted more than two years on this route, due to the spread of the pandemic, AirAsiaX served last Wednesday its first flight to Saudi King Abdulaziz airport, which departed at 5:37 a.m. (return flight operated at 11:39 a.m.). From now on, the Malaysian airline provides six rotations per week to the Saudi destination. This four-hour connection is operated by an Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

Besides Jeddah, the program presented by AirAsiaX also includes connections to the Philippines. These are additional flights scheduled from Thailand, served four times a week by the low cost carrier.
