in this regard, the minister of transport, aissa bekkai received on friday december 13 at the headquarters of his department, the ambassador of the kingdom of saudi arabia in algeria, abdalleh benacer el bassiri with whom he discussed the subject of reactivation of the air transport agreement between the two countries. the Saudi diplomat expressed his willingness to reopen the direct paris – riyadh line.
For his part, the Minister of Transport indicated that Algeria was ready to examine the Saudi request for the operation of the direct line connecting the two countries, while considering the evolution of the pandemic situation of covid-19 and the guidance from the relevant Algerian high authorities.
During this interview, issues related to international civil aviation of common interest were reviewed. according to bekkai, several arab countries have expressed their wish to relaunch air transport lines with algeria.
